Acoustic Flat-Top Guitars

Gibson This 1962 J-45 slope-shoulder dreadnaught has now been returned to active service after extensive professional crack and brace repairs, plus bridge replacement. It still has the original finish on its solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, though the finish has faded considerably over the years from its original reddish hue, and also has a considerable amount of checking...but overall, it looks pretty doggone good! This guitar still has its original Kluson Deluxe tuners, and comes with the original brown alligator case, in good shape. The frets are freshly milled, and the setup and playability are excellent, as is the sound quality...this has become a very nice guitar indeed! Call for an in-hand description... VG, OSC photo
    $2000

Gibson This 1963 J-45 slope-shoulder dreadnaught beauty is in excellent condition, and 100% original, with the exception of an added pickup, which has replaced the original adjustable saddle (although the black plastic bridge is original, and has not been altered), and a jack installed in the treble side of the lower bout. The reddish sunburst finish on its solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides is in great clean condition, with little or no fading, and just minor playing wear. The original Kluson Deluxe tuners look almost new, and work perfectly...the original Gibson hardshell case is also in good shape. The setup and playability are great, and the volume and tone are wonderful...a real cannon, and a thing of beauty! Call for an in-hand description! EX, OHC, photo
    $3000

Seagull Coastline Cedar Gloss Top, recent, slope-shouldered dreadnaught body, natural solid cedar top with high-gloss finish, laminated dark-stained wild cherry back and sides with satin finish, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, sealed tuners, a beautiful and great-sounding instrument! EX, HC, photo
    $300

Seagull Coastline Cedar 12 String, slope-shouldered dreadnaught body, natural solid cedar top, laminated dark-stained wild cherry back and sides, satin finish, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, sealed tuners, sounds like a full orchestra, and may be tuned low or to concert pitch if desired! Acoustic and Electric Arch-Top Guitars

GibsonThis L-12P is truly an amazing guitar, both in looks and playability! Its 17" archtop f-hole body and single rounded cutaway give it plenty of acoustic power and tone, with easy access to the higher frets...and it also has a McCarty-style singlecoil pickup, mounted on the pickguard for electric playing, which conneects to an endpin jack, for easy plug-in capability! Photo soon...
    $6000

Old Kraftsman 1960s 16" wide acoustic archtop with f-holes, made for Spiegel catalog by Kay, "faux-flame" sunburst finish, probably birch body, replacement tuners, VG, SC photo

Solid-Body Electric Guitars and Basses

Fender This 1964 Telecaster, with alder body and sunburst finish, has a 1970 Fender Tele neck w/maple fingerboard, with replacement Kluson-style tuners. There is serious belt-buckle wear on the back, but the front looks great, and so does the neck, which is nice and straight! The neck pickup is original; the bridge pickup is a '70s Fender, and the bridge itself has been replaced with a Fender reissue 3-saddle bridge. This guitar looks, plays and sounds just like it should, and it's a real bargain, too! VG, OHC, photo
    $8000

Gibson This '68 Les Paul Custom is a real black beauty, with single-piece mahogany neck and body. It also has a couple of small originality issues: the back of the neck has been repaired professionally, and touched up almost invisibly, the bridge pickup has been replaced with one from a 1970 Les Paul, the gold pickup covers have also been replaced with later ones, and the guitar has a custom-made ivory nut...all else is original, and looks and sounds great! VG, OHC with red Lining

    $75

Fender This all-tube 1964 Deluxe Reverb Amp, with a single 12" speaker, is rated at 35 watts output power, yet it sure puts out plenty of volume! It also has excellent tone, looks totally clean, is all-original, except for replacement tubes, and a later Fender speaker, and comes with an Anvil case...sorry, but I won't ship this one, you'll have to come to Navarro and check it out!
